Why Does This Base Design Work?

This Town Hall 8 War base features a symmetrical, multi-compartment design centered around the Town Hall, Clan Castle, and Barbarian King, providing a strong core defense. The layout utilizes a layered wall structure, with an inner core, a middle ring housing key defenses like Air Defenses and Wizard Towers, and an outer layer protecting resource storages and point defenses like Cannons and Archer Towers. The Air Defenses are well-distributed in a triangular formation within the middle layer, offering overlapping coverage against air attacks like Dragons. The Wizard Towers are positioned to protect both the core and the outer compartments, providing crucial splash damage. Spring traps and giant bombs are strategically placed between defensive structures to disrupt ground assaults, particularly Hog Rider or Giant attacks. The outer layer acts as a buffer, forcing attackers to expend resources before reaching the core.
