Why Does This Base Design Work?

This symmetric Town Hall 8 War base features a compartmentalized core designed to stall and separate attacking forces. The central compartment houses the Town Hall, protected by adjacent Wizard Towers and Air Defenses. This core is surrounded by a ring of secondary compartments containing Gold and Elixir Storages, which act as high-hitpoint buffers to slow down troops while defenses dish out damage. The outer compartments are filled with Cannons and Archer Towers, providing a wide defensive perimeter.
