Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH8 War base features a compact core design, optimizing defense against common attack strategies. The layout utilizes nine distinct compartments, effectively segmenting critical defenses and resources. Two Air Defenses occupy the central compartment alongside the Town Hall and Clan Castle, providing robust air protection. Two Wizard Towers flank the core, creating significant splash damage overlap. A Bomb Tower protects the lower-central area, while the Barbarian King defends the lower-right compartment. This design specifically counters Dragon spam attacks and Hog Rider assaults through strategic trap placement and compartmentalization. Outer resource buildings act as temporary hitpoint buffers.
