Why Does This Base Design Work?

This is a highly compartmentalized Town Hall 8 War base designed to slow down ground assaults and protect key defenses. The core features the Town Hall centrally located, flanked by Clan Castle, Barbarian King, and a Dark Elixir Storage, creating a strong defensive hub. The base utilizes a diamond-shaped structure with multiple small, enclosed compartments. Air Defenses are deeply embedded and distributed to offer overlapping coverage against dragon attacks, while Wizard Towers and Mortars are strategically placed to handle swarms. Spring traps and giant bombs are likely positioned in the narrow funnels between compartments to maximize effectiveness against Hogs or Giants. The outer layer consists of resource collectors and builder huts to absorb initial damage and disrupt pathing. The extensive wall layering and compartmentalization make it difficult for ground troops to penetrate deeply without significant wall-breaking capabilities, effectively protecting the core.
