Why Does This Base Design Work?

The Town Hall occupies the central compartment, surrounded by 17 distinct compartments. Four Air Defenses are strategically placed in the inner ring, 2 tiles from compartment walls, providing comprehensive air coverage for the entire base. Four Wizard Towers protect the core, each positioned 1 tile from an inner wall, offering critical splash damage overlap. This diamond-shaped design effectively counters Hog Rider attacks through extensive compartmentalization and defends against Dragon spam with centralized air defenses. The Clan Castle sits centrally, making defensive troop luring difficult for attackers.
