Why Does This Base Design Work?

This Town Hall 8 Trophy base features a diamond-shaped core containing the Town Hall, Clan Castle, and Dark Elixir Storage, well-protected by surrounding compartments. The layout utilizes a multi-layered wall structure, forcing attackers to break through several layers to reach the core. Key defenses like Air Defenses and Wizard Towers are distributed symmetrically in the inner ring, providing balanced coverage against both air and ground attacks. Gold and Elixir Storages are placed in the outer compartments, serving as high-hitpoint buffers to slow down advancing troops. Hidden Teslas are strategically positioned near the core to surprise attackers. Spring Traps and Giant Bombs are likely placed in the gaps between defenses within the compartments to maximize damage. The centralized Clan Castle ensures defending troops are difficult to lure out early. This layout is effective for trophy pushing as the heavily fortified core makes it challenging to secure a two or three-star victory, while the outer storages distract and delay the attacking army.
