Why Does This Base Design Work?

This Town Hall 8 Trophy base utilizes a classic diamond-shaped, multi-layered compartment structure designed to slow down attacking forces and protect the core. The Town Hall is heavily centralized, surrounded by a ring of high-damage defenses including mortars and hidden teslas, ensuring maximum protection for trophies. The outer layer consists of numerous small compartments housing individual defenses like cannons and archer towers, forcing attackers to break through multiple walls. Air defenses are strategically spread out in the middle layer to provide overlapping coverage against aerial assaults. Trap placement appears focused on the outer ring to disrupt initial funneling attempts. The placement of elixir storages and gold storages in the middle ring serves as high-hitpoint buffers, absorbing damage while inner defenses target the attackers. Overall, this design philosophy prioritizes core defense, making it difficult for attackers to achieve a 2-star or 3-star victory, which is ideal for trophy pushing at TH8.
