Why Does This Base Design Work?

A symmetrical layout utilizes nine compartments to segment defenses and slow ground armies. Three Air Defenses create a wide defensive triangle, making them difficult for attackers to destroy simultaneously. The Clan Castle and Barbarian King secure the core compartment next to the Town Hall. Gold and Elixir Storages act as high-hitpoint shields for the Air Defenses. This base design effectively counters mass Dragon attacks by separating key air-targeting defenses. The multiple compartments also challenge ground strategies like Giant-Healer by forcing troops through numerous walls. The single Air Sweeper protects the southern approach from air assaults.
