Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH7 war base presents a symmetrical, diamond-shaped layout with 14 distinct compartments to segment attacks. Three level 5 Air Defenses establish a defensive triangle, protecting the core from aerial assaults. The Clan Castle occupies a central position next to the Town Hall, making an early lure difficult. Three Wizard Towers provide overlapping splash damage coverage over key defenses and storages. The layout's structure and defensive placement primarily counter Mass Dragon and Hog Rider attacks by controlling troop pathing and maximizing damage output from core defenses.
