Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH7 war base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.

An asymmetrical design segments this Town Hall 7 layout into 11 compartments. A central core protects the Town Hall, two Air Defenses, and the Barbarian King. The third Air Defense sits in a northern cell, creating a strong anti-dragon triangle. A centralized Clan Castle proves difficult for attackers to lure. Two Wizard Towers provide overlapping splash coverage over key storage areas. This layout effectively defends against mass Dragon attacks and slows down Giant-Healer strategies with its segmented wall structure.

💪 Strengths

✓Two Air Defenses and the Barbarian King protect the Town Hall within the core compartment, creating a high-damage zone against both air and ground troops.
✓The triangular placement of all three Air Defenses, supported by Seeking Air Mines, provides excellent coverage against mass Dragon attacks from any angle.
✓Multiple compartments and strategically placed spring traps between defenses disrupt Hog Rider and Giant pathing, thinning out ground armies before they reach the core.

⚠️ Weaknesses

✗An attacker can destroy the isolated northern Air Defense with three Lightning Spells, then funnel Dragons from the south to overwhelm the two remaining clustered Air Defenses.
✗The Mortars occupy easily accessible outer compartments, making them vulnerable to early destruction by surgical Giants or Balloons, which reduces the base's splash defense against ground swarms.
