Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH7 war base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.

This TH7 war base utilizes a symmetrical design with 16 compartments. A centralized Clan Castle is difficult to lure. Three Air Defenses form a protective triangle around the core, each residing in a separate compartment. The Air Sweeper covers the southern approach, protecting two Air Defenses. Two Wizard Towers provide splash coverage over high-hitpoint storages. This layout primarily counters Mass Dragon and Hog Rider attacks by separating key defenses and creating complex troop pathing. The Barbarian King guards the central Town Hall compartment.

💪 Strengths

✓Triangulated Air Defenses create a strong anti-dragon core, with each of the three defenses placed in separate compartments to prevent sequential destruction by dragons.
✓Mass Hog Rider attacks are countered by the numerous small compartments that disrupt pathing, while Spring Traps are placed in channels between defenses to eliminate groups of hogs.
✓The central, unlurable Clan Castle ensures defensive troops deploy late into an attack, maximizing their damage against high-health troops like Dragons or Giants.

⚠️ Weaknesses

✗A Zap-Dragon strategy can exploit the base by using three Lightning Spells to eliminate the northern Air Defense, creating a clear path for dragons from the top.
