Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH7 war base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.

A diamond-shaped layout utilizes nine distinct compartments for defense. The central core protects the Clan Castle, Barbarian King, and one Air Defense. Two outer Air Defenses form a triangular coverage pattern, bolstered by high-hitpoint Gold and Elixir Storages. Three Wizard Towers provide overlapping splash damage against grouped troops. This design effectively counters Mass Hog Rider attacks with a dedicated double Giant Bomb trap and provides a strong initial defense against Mass Dragon strategies.
