Why Does This Base Design Work?

This Town Hall 5 farming layout uses a compact, diamond design with five compartments. The central core houses the Town Hall, the Mortar, and the Wizard Tower, creating a concentrated splash damage zone. One Air Defense occupies a central compartment to guard against aerial threats. Gold Storages and Elixir Storages sit in separate, protected sections. The base structure effectively defends against ground-focused Barch and Giant-based armies by funneling troops into traps and overlapping fields of fire from key defenses.
