Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH5 farming base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.

Centralized splash defenses define this TH5 farming layout. Five compartments protect key structures and resources. The Mortar occupies the core, providing excellent splash coverage over storages. A Wizard Tower guards the Town Hall and a Gold Storage. The single Air Defense sits in a dedicated cell, countering Giant-Healer attacks. This design funnels ground troops like Giants and Barbarians into traps and splash zones, making it strong against Barch and Giant-based armies. Gold Storages and the Elixir Storage are well-protected within separate walled sections, prioritizing resource protection.

💪 Strengths

✓The central Mortar placement delivers splash damage across the Town Hall, Clan Castle, and key storages, neutralizing large groups of Barbarians and Archers.
✓A dedicated compartment for the single Air Defense forces attackers to commit troops specifically to destroy it, making Giant-Healer strategies less effective as Giants will path away.
✓Strategic compartmentalization forces attackers to use multiple Wall Breakers to access the core, slowing down ground assaults and separating troops for point defenses to eliminate.
