Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH5 farming base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.

A single, large diamond-shaped compartment protects all four storages and key defenses in this farming layout. The Wizard Tower and Mortar are centralized, providing overlapping splash coverage over the Gold and Elixir Storages. The single Air Defense and Clan Castle also sit within this core, maximizing their protection. This defensive structure aims to defeat common TH5 farming attacks like Barch (Barbarian and Archer) and Giant-based armies. An external Town Hall placement helps generate a defensive shield quickly to secure resources. The layout contains 20 buildings outside the main walls to disrupt attacker funneling.
