Why Does This Base Design Work?

A symmetrical diamond layout utilizes seven compartments to protect loot and the Town Hall. The central core houses the Mortar and the Wizard Tower, creating a powerful splash damage zone. One Air Defense occupies its own central compartment, shielding the core from air attacks. Four main compartments each protect one Gold or Elixir Storage alongside a point defense. This compartmentalization and splash damage overlap effectively defend against Barch swarms and Giant-Wizard pushes. The base functions as a strong hybrid design for TH5, safeguarding both trophies and resources.
