Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH5 farming base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.

This Town Hall 5 farming layout utilizes a symmetrical five-compartment design to safeguard resources. A central Mortar provides critical splash coverage over the core. The single Wizard Tower protects the Elixir Storages and an Archer Tower in the left compartment. The lone Air Defense anchors the right side, defending the Gold Storages. This segmented structure effectively counters ground-based attacks like Giant-Healer and Barbarian-Archer (Barch) spam by funneling troops into kill zones with focused splash and point damage, making it an effective hybrid base for protecting loot and trophies.

✓Four storages are segregated into two separate compartments, each defended by splash damage (Wizard Tower/Mortar) and point defenses, forcing attackers to breach multiple sections for a full loot grab.
