Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH4 war base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.

A centralized core defines this TH4 war layout, protecting the most vital defenses. Five compartments segment the design. The central compartment contains the Town Hall, Clan Castle, Mortar, and the single Air Defense. Two Archer Towers and two Cannons occupy separate outer compartments for balanced coverage. This defensive positioning provides strong resistance against mass Giant and mass Balloon attacks. External buildings create an effective anti-funnel system, directing ground troops into a path of concentrated fire and traps before they reach the walls.

✓The centralized Mortar delivers splash damage across the entire base, weakening large groups of Barbarians and Archers.
✓A single, well-protected Air Defense in the core complicates mass Balloon attacks, forcing balloons to path through multiple point defenses to reach it.
