Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH4 war base centralizes all key defenses within a single, square compartment. The Town Hall, Clan Castle, Air Defense, and Mortar occupy the core, creating a concentrated defensive zone. This layout effectively counters mass Balloon and mass Barbarian attacks. The single Air Defense protects the entire core from aerial threats, while the Mortar delivers splash damage against ground swarms. Two Archer Towers and two Cannons form the outer defensive layer, supported by high-hitpoint storages that slow down enemy troops. The base's compact nature maximizes the damage output of its limited defenses.
