Why Does This Base Design Work?

A central compartment protects the Town Hall 4 and the single Mortar. This diamond-shaped layout uses five compartments to segment defenses and slow ground troops. The Mortar provides splash coverage over the core, including two Archer Towers and two Cannons. A single Air Defense is secured within a northern pocket, protecting it from initial ground assaults. This base design prioritizes defense against mass Goblin raids by centralizing storages and counters basic Giant-based attacks through strategic funneling. An outer layer of non-defensive buildings creates a wide buffer zone, delaying enemy troop deployment into the core.
