Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH18 War base features over 20 distinct compartments. The Town Hall occupies the central core, flanked by the Monolith and Eagle Artillery. Two Scattershots are positioned diagonally in the 10 o'clock and 4 o'clock compartments, providing wide-area splash damage. Four Multi-Target Inferno Towers guard the inner ring, establishing formidable anti-air and anti-ground pressure. Numerous X-Bows are dispersed throughout the base, covering both ground and air targets. This compartmentalized design primarily counters Root Rider spam and E-Drag attacks, forcing extensive pathing.
