Why Does This Base Design Work?

The TH18 War base presents a unique diamond perimeter protecting 18 distinct compartments. A central Town Hall anchors the layout, shielded by four strategically placed Monoliths. The Eagle Artillery occupies a dedicated compartment at the base's northern apex, providing global range. Four Scattershots deliver wide-area splash damage, supporting eight Inferno Towers split between multi-target and single-target modes. The design effectively counters E-Drag spam with robust air defenses and compartmentalization, also defending against Root Rider spam through dense walls and high-damage point defenses.
