Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH18 War base features robust anti-ground defenses through extensive compartmentalization. A central 4x4 compartment protects the Town Hall, Monolith, and Clan Castle. The Eagle Artillery occupies a deep 5x5 compartment, two wall layers from the exterior. Five Inferno Towers, comprising three Single-Target and two Multi-Target, provide strong defensive coverage. Six X-Bows target ground units, creating a dense point defense network. Two Scattershots deliver crucial splash damage. This design effectively defends against Root Rider spam and hybrid Hog Rider attacks.
