Why Does This Base Design Work?

A formidable TH18 War base displays a diamond-shaped anti-3-star design. It features 5 primary compartments alongside numerous outer segments, creating extensive compartmentalization. The Eagle Artillery, Monolith, and two Multi-Target Inferno Towers anchor the central compartment. Four Scattershots defend the inner diamond compartments, providing extensive splash damage coverage. Multiple X-Bows (ground/air) are strategically distributed throughout the core and inner rings. This base excels against Root Rider spam due to complex pathing and splash damage. It also effectively counters E-Drag attacks with well-placed Air Defenses and multi-target defenses.
