Why Does This Base Design Work?

A highly segmented TH18 War base features 18 distinct compartments, creating formidable pathing challenges. The centrally positioned Town Hall and Eagle Artillery occupy the innermost compartment, protected by surrounding defenses. Four Scattershots provide expansive splash damage coverage across outer sections. Two Monoliths are strategically placed to eliminate high-hitpoint troops, one near the core, one in the bottom-right. Multiple Multi-target Inferno Towers defend crucial compartments. This defensive configuration effectively counters Root Rider spam and Electro Dragon attacks.
