Why Does This Base Design Work?

The TH17 Trophy base exhibits a symmetrical island design, featuring 18 distinct compartments. A centralized Town Hall and Clan Castle anchor the core, protected by the adjacent Eagle Artillery. Two Monoliths guard the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions, while two Scattershots defend the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock flanks. Four Inferno Towers provide significant damage output. The layout effectively counters mass Root Rider attacks with its deep compartmentalization and deters Electro Dragon spam through widespread air targeting defenses.
