Why Does This Base Design Work?

This Town Hall 5 war base utilizes an asymmetric design with seven compartments. A centralized Mortar provides splash damage coverage over the Town Hall. The single Wizard Tower protects a Gold Storage and the Air Defense from clumped troops. The Air Defense sits behind one layer of walls, defending against initial Balloon attacks. The compartmentalized core slows down Giant-based attacks by forcing them through multiple wall segments. This layout primarily counters ground-based strategies like Giant-Healer and Barbarian-Archer spam. The Town Hall is secured within its own central compartment.
