This TH5 war base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.

This Town Hall 5 war base centralizes key splash defenses for maximum protection. The layout contains five primary compartments to slow ground troop progression. A central Wizard Tower, Mortar, and Air Defense protect the Town Hall and core. High-hitpoint Gold and Elixir Storages shield these critical defenses from attackers. This compact design effectively defends against mass Barbarian/Archer (Barch) swarms and Giant-based attacks. The wall structure funnels ground units into strategically placed traps, increasing the base's defensive capabilities against common TH5 ground strategies.

💪 Strengths

✓The centralized Wizard Tower and Mortar provide excellent overlapping splash damage coverage, effectively neutralizing low-health swarm attacks like Barch.
✓Multiple compartments and well-placed Spring Traps disrupt Giant pathing, separating them from support troops and weakening Giant-Healer strategies.
✓Triangulated Archer Towers offer balanced anti-air coverage across the base, forcing attackers to commit a significant number of Balloons to take them down.

⚠️ Weaknesses

✗A mass Balloon attack can overwhelm the single Air Defense, as attackers can target the outer Archer Towers first before converging on the core.
✗The Clan Castle is completely exposed at the 12 o'clock position, allowing an attacker to easily lure and eliminate defensive troops with a single unit before the main assault.

🏰 Recommended CC Troops

Max-level Balloons are ideal for defense. They provide high splash damage upon death, effectively countering ground troops like Giants and Barbarians used for the lure, and can also target attacking air troops.
