Why Does This Base Design Work?

This anti-giant TH5 war base centers all key defenses within a core compartment. The Wizard Tower, Mortar, and Air Defense protect the Town Hall. Four outer compartments create a buffer zone, forming a five-compartment structure. The layout effectively counters Giant-based attacks by targeting support troops with the central Air Defense and Wizard Tower. Splash damage from the core defenses also thwarts mass Barbarian and Archer attacks. A central Clan Castle placement ensures a difficult troop lure, strengthening the overall defense against common TH5 strategies.
