Why Does This Base Design Work?
This TH10 fun & troll base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.
This TH10 layout presents a unique, symmetrical diamond design with heavy compartmentalization. The base utilizes over 15 compartments to disrupt ground troop pathing. A centralized Clan Castle, the Archer Queen, and two X-Bows secure the core. Two multi-target Inferno Towers provide critical splash damage coverage against spam armies. The design effectively counters mass ground attacks like Witch Slap and Hog Riders by separating key defenses and creating kill zones. Three X-Bows set to ground and air offer balanced protection against a variety of offensive compositions.
💪 Strengths
- ✓A central core houses the Clan Castle and Archer Queen, protected by two X-Bows and a multi-target Inferno Tower, making a hero-dive or Clan Castle lure extremely difficult.
- ✓The layout excels against Hog Rider or Miner spam because the two multi-target Inferno Towers cover large sections of the base, and numerous compartments funnel troops into Giant Bomb and Spring Trap locations.
- ✓Extensive compartmentalization breaks up GoWiPe and Witch Slap attacks, separating Golems from their support troops and exposing Witches to splash damage from well-placed Wizard Towers and Bomb Towers.
⚠️ Weaknesses
- ✗A Queen Charge combined with Valkyries can exploit the base; a jump spell placed over the outer compartments can grant Valkyries direct access to the core's high-value targets.
- ✗The Air Defenses are somewhat exposed to the exterior, making them susceptible to surgical takedowns in a LavaLoon attack, especially from the 6 o'clock or 12 o'clock positions.
🏰 Recommended CC Troops
A Lava Hound and a Balloon are optimal. The Lava Hound has high hitpoints to stall an enemy Queen Charge, and its pups distract troops upon death, while the Balloon provides a high-damage surprise.
