Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH10 fun & troll base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.

This Town Hall 10 layout presents a unique mask-like design with over 15 distinct compartments. The core contains the Town Hall, a centralized Clan Castle, and one multi-target Inferno Tower. A second multi-target Inferno Tower anchors the 3 o'clock side, providing wide splash coverage. The base structure effectively counters ground-based swarm attacks like Witch Slap and Hog Riders. Its heavy compartmentalization splits up enemy forces, while multi-target infernos eliminate low-health troops.

💪 Strengths

✓Two multi-target Inferno Towers and four Wizard Towers create overlapping fields of splash damage, decimating swarm troops from Witch or Hog Rider attacks.
✓The heavily compartmentalized design disrupts ground troop pathing, separating tanks from damage-dealers and guiding them into strategically placed traps.
✓A centralized Clan Castle with a 12-tile radius is difficult to lure, forcing attackers to commit a significant force to deal with defensive troops early in the raid.

⚠️ Weaknesses

✗A Queen Charge LaLoon attack can exploit the base design. A Queen entering at 3 o'clock can destroy an Inferno Tower, an Air Defense, and the Clan Castle troops, paving the way for Balloons.
✗The Air Defenses are positioned in outer compartments, making them vulnerable to a Zap-Quake strategy which can eliminate two ADs and create a clear funnel for Dragon attacks.

🏰 Recommended CC Troops

A Lava Hound is the recommended Clan Castle troop. Its high hitpoints stall powerful ground armies, and upon destruction, its Lava Pups overwhelm attackers under the fire of the multi-target Inferno Towers.
