Why Does This Base Design Work?

A TH9 War base features a prominent skull-shaped wall art using Level 10 walls. The design creates zero central compartments for critical defenses. Four X-Bows (Level 3) protect the eastern flank, two set to ground and two to air. Four Air Defenses (Level 7) are externally placed, two on the western side, two on the eastern. The Clan Castle occupies a northeast position, 2 tiles from the edge. Four Wizard Towers (Level 7) provide splash damage coverage, positioned near the corners. The Dark Elixir Storage is secured in the northwest corner, 3 tiles from the outer wall. The spread Air Defenses deter mass Dragon attacks. Numerous point defenses distributed externally challenge Hog Rider paths.
