Why Does This Base Design Work?

This compact TH9 War base features seventeen distinct compartments, optimizing defensive integrity. The Town Hall occupies the central compartment, surrounded by the Clan Castle and four X-Bows. Two X-Bows target ground and air, positioned directly north and south of the Town Hall. The remaining two X-Bows target ground units, placed east and west. Four Air Defenses create an inner square, safeguarding the core from aerial assaults. Four Wizard Towers provide crucial splash damage coverage in the outer corner compartments. This anti-3-star layout effectively counters Hog Rider attacks through strong compartmentalization and GoWiPe strategies with its high core point defense density.
