Why Does This Base Design Work?
This TH9 war base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.
Over 18 compartments form a complex web designed to split ground forces. A fortified central core contains the Clan Castle, Archer Queen, and one ground/air X-Bow. Four Air Defenses establish a wide anti-air perimeter, each in its own compartment. A second X-Bow covers the southern flank. This layout effectively counters GoHo (Golems, Hogs) and LaLoon (Lava Hounds, Balloons) attacks through strategic pathing and separated splash and air defenses.
💪 Strengths
- ✓The central compartment secures the Archer Queen, Clan Castle, and one X-Bow behind multiple wall layers, creating a high-damage kill zone.
- ✓Hog Rider attacks are heavily discouraged by the numerous compartments that break pathing and the strategic placement of Wizard Towers and potential Giant Bomb locations.
- ✓Air Defenses and Wizard Towers are intentionally separated, preventing Lava Hounds from tanking both simultaneously and allowing Wizard Towers to target clumped Balloons effectively.
⚠️ Weaknesses
- ✗A precise Queen Charge from the 3 or 9 o'clock position could eliminate an Air Defense, an X-Bow, and successfully lure the Clan Castle troops.
- ✗The large size of some compartments can be exploited by Witch Slap attacks, allowing skeletons to overwhelm the base's single-target point defenses.
🏰 Recommended CC Troops
A Lava Hound stalls air attacks and distracts the enemy Queen. A Balloon provides high retaliatory damage. Archers fill the remaining space for distracting low-HP troops.
