Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH9 trophy base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.

TH9 Trophy base utilizes 13 distinct compartments. Two X-Bows guard the central Town Hall compartment, providing extensive ground and air point defense coverage. Four Air Defenses are strategically placed in separate mid-layer compartments, protecting against aerial assaults from each quadrant. Four Wizard Towers deliver splash damage in the outer rings, defending resource buildings and providing anti-swarm capabilities. This layout effectively counters Hog Rider attacks and Dragon spam due to its segmented design and spread air defenses.

💪 Strengths

✓Centralized X-Bows provide overlapping ground and air point defense coverage over the Town Hall and Dark Elixir storage.
✓Multiple compartmentalization hinders Hog Rider pathing, forcing spring trap activations and exposing them to concentrated point defense fire.
✓The spread of Air Defenses in individual compartments complicates lightning spell value and protects against Dragon spam by forcing dragon splits.

⚠️ Weaknesses

✗Queen Charge from the top-left or top-right side can isolate an Air Defense and funnel into the core due to less concentrated outer point defenses.
✗Valkyrie attacks, utilizing Jump Spells, can bypass outer compartments and reach the core with high efficiency against clustered defenses.
