Why Does This Base Design Work?

This Town Hall 8 farming base utilizes a highly compartmentalized design to protect resources, particularly Dark Elixir. The core features the Town Hall, Clan Castle, and Dark Elixir Storage, surrounded by a tight ring of Air Defenses and Hidden Teslas, providing robust central protection against both air and ground assaults. The base is structured with multiple layers of walls, forcing attackers to break through several compartments to reach the core. Gold and Elixir Storages are distributed across the middle ring, each in its own compartment, accompanied by Wizard Towers and Mortars for splash damage defense. Cannons and Archer Towers are placed in the outer layer to provide initial point defense. Spring traps and giant bombs are strategically placed between defensive structures to disrupt ground troop pathing. The overall philosophy is to delay attackers with numerous walls while maximizing the time they spend under fire from splash and point defenses, making it difficult to secure all resources.
