Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH7 trophy base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.

A unique skull-shaped wall art with the letters "W.E.P." defines this TH7 layout. The base contains zero functional compartments, with all buildings placed on the perimeter. The Town Hall and Barbarian King occupy the left side. Two Air Defenses are placed far apart at the top and bottom. Two Wizard Towers provide splash coverage on the bottom. This spread-out design attempts to complicate pathing for Mass Dragon attacks. Trap placement on the right side aims to counter focused Hog Rider deployments from that specific angle, creating a troll layout.

💪 Strengths

✓The Town Hall's placement on the far left separates it from the main defensive clusters, potentially splitting an attacker's forces.
✓Widely separated Air Defenses at the top and bottom prevent an attacker from destroying both with a single set of three Lightning Spells, slightly complicating Mass Dragon strategies.
✓A concentrated group of Spring Traps and Giant Bombs on the bottom-right creates a surprise kill zone for ground armies like Hog Riders or Giants attacking from that specific vector.

⚠️ Weaknesses

✗Mass Dragon attacks will easily achieve three stars. The exposed Air Defenses can be destroyed individually, after which the Dragons can clear the remaining buildings without threat.
✗The complete lack of wall protection allows ground troops like Giants or Hog Riders to path directly to any defense, making the entire base susceptible to a simple ground swarm.

🏰 Recommended CC Troops

A defensive Dragon is optimal; its high HP and splash damage can stall ground and air attacks. Alternatively, max-level Valkyries can quickly eliminate ground swarms like Barbarians or Giants that will walk through the open layout.
