Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH5 layout focuses on anti-air defense through strategic compartmentalization. The base contains nine total compartments to slow ground troop pathing. A central Air Defense provides crucial protection against aerial threats. The Wizard Tower and Mortar occupy separate, well-protected compartments, creating a deadly splash damage triangle. The Clan Castle's central placement makes luring difficult. This design effectively counters mass Balloon attacks and Giant-heavy ground pushes. Gold and Elixir Storages act as high-hitpoint shields for the core defenses, further stalling enemy advances.
