Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH4 hybrid layout centralizes the Town Hall and key defenses within a core compartment. Three compartments segment the base for strategic troop pathing. The Mortar sits in the core, delivering splash damage to counter ground swarms. A northern compartment isolates the single Air Defense to defend against Balloon attacks. The Clan Castle occupies a separate eastern compartment. This base design prioritizes defense against Barch and Giant-based ground assaults. Gold and Elixir Storages reside within the main walls for resource protection.
