Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH4 hybrid layout utilizes a five-compartment diamond structure to protect core assets. The central compartment houses the Town Hall, Mortar, Clan Castle, and one Archer Tower. The single Mortar provides excellent splash coverage against ground swarms. Two Cannons and a second Archer Tower occupy separate outer compartments, creating a layered defense. An Air Defense is positioned to counter early Balloon deployments. The base design is strong against mass Barbarian/Archer (Barch) attacks and uncoordinated Giant-based armies. This layout prioritizes resource and Town Hall protection for trophy pushing and farming.
