Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH4 hybrid base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.

This TH4 hybrid layout centralizes all key structures within a single, large compartment. The Town Hall 4 sits at the core, flanked by the Clan Castle and a crucial Mortar. Two Gold Storages and two Elixir Storages act as high-hitpoint shields for the central defenses. This placement provides excellent protection for both the Town Hall and resources. The centralized Mortar delivers devastating splash damage to ground swarms. The layout effectively counters mass Barbarian/Archer attacks and basic Giant-based assaults by funneling troops into the Mortar's range.

💪 Strengths

✓A centralized Mortar provides complete splash damage coverage over all storages and the Town Hall, decimating low-health troops like Barbarians and Archers.
✓The high-hitpoint Gold and Elixir Storages are positioned in front of defenses, effectively slowing down defense-targeting troops like Giants and increasing their time under fire.
