Why Does This Base Design Work?

A TH18 Trophy base presents a unique diamond-shaped design with 18 distinct compartments. Two Monoliths flank the Town Hall within the central core. The Eagle Artillery occupies a compartment directly north of the Town Hall. Four Scattershots are strategically placed in the outer core, ensuring broad splash damage coverage. Eight multi-target Inferno Towers and ten X-Bows (configured for ground and air) contribute significant point and splash damage. Four Air Defenses are spread across the base, hindering air assaults. The Clan Castle is centralized, making a hero lure exceptionally difficult. This extensive compartmentalization and anti-funnel design slow ground forces, effectively countering Root Rider spam and Electro Dragon attacks.
