Why Does This Base Design Work?

A TH18 Trophy base employs a highly compartmentalized design; 20 distinct wall sections define the perimeter. The central compartment contains the Town Hall, Monolith, and two Multi-Target Inferno Towers, establishing an impregnable core. Two Scattershots reside in inner compartments, 6 tiles from the core, projecting wide splash coverage. The Eagle Artillery occupies a key compartment, 9 tiles north-east of the Town Hall, projecting immense damage. Four Single-Target Inferno Towers and four Multi-Target Inferno Towers are strategically positioned in inner and outer compartments. The layout effectively counters Root Rider spam with extensive walls and E-Drag spam through widespread air defenses and Multi-Target Inferno Towers. Numerous X-Bows provide dense point defense coverage.
