Why Does This Base Design Work?

A robust TH18 Anti 3 Star ring base features over 15 distinct compartments. The central core contains the Town Hall, Monolith, Eagle Artillery, and Clan Castle. Two Multi-Target Inferno Towers and two Scattershots flank the core, providing critical splash damage. Two Ground/Air X-Bows further fortify the central defenses. This intricate compartmentalization and high core defense density effectively counter E-Drag spam and Root Rider attacks by disrupting troop pathing and overwhelming their health pools. Point defenses and splash damage units are strategically distributed across the outer rings.
