The TH18 island base design features over 20 distinct compartments, creating significant pathing challenges for attacking armies. The central Town Hall sits 3 tiles from the Eagle Artillery, which provides extensive splash coverage. Four Monoliths guard the inner core, positioned 2 tiles from the Town Hall, delivering intense single-target damage. Four Scattershots in the mid-layer compartments, 6 tiles from the Town Hall, offer wide-area splash defense. This layout strongly counters E-Drag spam with dispersed air defenses and multiple single-target inferno towers. It also effectively defends against Root Rider spam through its deep compartmentalization and high point defense density.
