Why Does This Base Design Work?

A TH18 ring base design features extensive compartmentalization with over 12 distinct defensive sections. The Town Hall resides centrally, adjacent to the Monolith. An Eagle Artillery is positioned 4 tiles north of the core. Four Multi-Target Inferno Towers and four Scattershots occupy the inner ring, creating significant splash damage overlap. Six X-Bows provide comprehensive ground and air coverage. The layout effectively counters E-Drag spam and Root Rider spam attacks through its dense point defense and widespread splash damage.
