Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH17 War base features over twenty distinct compartments, creating complex troop pathing. The Monolith and Eagle Artillery flank the central Town Hall, providing formidable core defense. Two Scattershots are diagonally placed within the second layer, delivering critical splash damage. Six Inferno Towers, a mix of single and multi-target, protect various compartments. This design effectively counters Root Rider spam with extensive compartmentalization and strong splash defense. It also defends against E-Drag spam through well-distributed air defenses and powerful single-target damage.
