Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH17 War base features 18 distinct compartments, creating significant pathing challenges for ground armies. The Eagle Artillery occupies a central compartment, 3 tiles southwest of the Town Hall. Two Monoliths guard the Town Hall, located 2 tiles southwest and 2 tiles southeast respectively. Four Scattershots are strategically placed in separate compartments, ensuring wide splash coverage. The Clan Castle sits 2 tiles west of the Town Hall, difficult to lure. This layout effectively counters Root Rider spam and Queen Charge Hybrid attacks.
