Why Does This Base Design Work?

A robust TH17 War base showcases formidable anti-2-star design with a heavily fortified core. The layout comprises over 20 distinct compartments, effectively hindering troop pathing and isolating defenses. The Town Hall, Monolith, and Eagle Artillery occupy the central compartment, reinforced by two Multi-Target Inferno Towers and two X-Bows. Four Scattershots are strategically placed in cardinal compartments, providing extensive splash damage coverage. Multiple Air Defenses and Wizard Towers are distributed to protect against air assaults. This base design primarily counters Root Rider spam and hybrid attacks by fragmenting troop groups and maximizing point defense value.
