Why Does This Base Design Work?

A robust TH17 War base employs 18 distinct compartments within a large diamond footprint. The central core houses the Town Hall, two Monoliths, and the Eagle Artillery, creating a formidable kill zone. Four Multi-Target Inferno Towers and four Scattershots are strategically distributed, providing extensive splash damage coverage. Numerous X-Bows are configured for both ground and air defense. Extensive compartmentalization heavily counters Root Rider spam, and distributed Air Defenses with concentrated point damage deter Electro Dragon attacks. Perimeter defenses include 10 Bomb Towers and 12 Wizard Towers, ensuring widespread splash support.
